My current research investigates the intersection of social and environmental sustainability, business, and society. It includes independent, award-winning research exploring circular economy strategies and collaborative research with professors in the Business and Society Group at the Beedie School of Business. Independent Research
Circular Economy in Everyday Business
An in-depth case analysis of local Canadian companies—many of which are part of my daily life—investigating how circular economy strategies are embedded into real-world business operations. This project is grounded in systems thinking and aims to make circularity more tangible for business audiences.

Independent Research Project: Qualitative Coding (Supervised by Dr. Emily Salmon)
Conducted thematic coding of scholarly texts on Indigenous conceptions of land, identifying and organizing key themes such as relationality, stewardship, and territorial sovereignty.
Analyzed qualitative data to extract direct quotes and categorize them into Indigenous land-based ontological frameworks.
Performed literature-based qualitative coding for a research project exploring Indigenous land relationships and cultural worldviews.

Contributing to projects that explore Indigenous approaches to governance, management, and sustainability through qualitative research and the development of an Indigenous management knowledge database.

Co-authoring a paper examining worldview differences in public uses of AI, with a focus on the ethical and cultural implications for Indigenous communities. This research is currently under review for a top-tier academic journal.
