Looking Ahead: The Future of This Project
The Sustainable Now Initiative began as a personal blog—a space to reflect, analyze, and engage with sustainability ideas that weren’t being talked about enough. Since then, it has grown into something deeper: a platform for academic translation, interdisciplinary dialogue, and systems-focused innovation.
But this is just the beginning.

As I move forward in my academic and professional journey, I see this project evolving alongside me. My goal is to pursue graduate research and, eventually, a PhD focused on corporate sustainability, with a particular emphasis on systems thinking, stakeholder accountability, Indigenous knowledge, and technology implementation. I want to help shape the future of business by embedding sustainability into how organizations think, act, and measure success.
Through The Sustainable Now Initiative, I plan to:

-
Develop research-backed playbooks, frameworks, and roadmaps to support practitioners across sectors
-
Continue publishing accessible articles that break down academic research into actionable insights
-
Host youth-led dialogues, events, and learning spaces where emerging thinkers can challenge the status quo
-
Build partnerships with students, professors, and sustainability leaders to co-create tools for change
-
Use this platform as a research lab to test new ideas and spark conversations that can scale

Ultimately, this initiative is about creating a space where deep thinking meets real action. A place where new models for sustainable business are imagined, refined, and shared openly. I want to help others build on these ideas, challenge them, or take them further—and in doing so, contribute to a more just, regenerative future.
This is more than a project. It’s a living ecosystem of ideas. And it will grow with me, as I continue learning, collaborating, and working to make sustainability a core part of how business is done.
